29 Weeks: We Are an Acorn Squash!! (75ish more days!!)

Wowza!! When you say it like that, wowza!!! 75 more days seems like nothing! And there is still lots to do!!!

Dear Baby J,
My darling baby boy, I have been wondering a lot about you this week. What will you look like? Will you have daddies thick beautiful straight hair or mommies crazy curly thin hair? What color will your eyes be? Are you gonna be a chunk or a little thing? There are so many questions! All in due time I know, I cannot wait to meet you! However, please stay in my belly as long as you need to! No rush here, we want you to grow and grow and grow!! We love you so much already, it is crazy how you can love someone you have never met! But I feel like I know you so well!!!

Random Baby Updates:
- He has very particular times that he likes to move: Before I am about to eat (when we are collectively hungry), after we eat (thank you mommy that was yummy!), when we lay down to go to bed, and when Chris' alarm goes off in the am. He also moves other random times throughout the day, but these are daily occurrences!
- I actually saw... SAW my belly move today!!! Holy weird and crazy and exciting!! I hope Chris gets to see it!!
- The two bellies are slowly working towards one... here is hoping!

Nursery Update:
-  I got a pillow for the rocker. It is a yellow color. Going to a pop of color different from the tan/white/navy we have got going on.
- Chris and I spray painted all the letters navy and I modge podged scrapbook paper on to a few of the letters. I am hoping this works out. I have tried to plan this out, but am realizing that I just cant. I have to go with the flow! (Side Note: When you spray paint letters make sure they are facing the correct way. We realized along the way that a good 5/6 were backwards. haha)
- I am hunting for a rug and lamp. More the rug right now because I need to test an end table from my mother in law.
- I am also hunting for curtains. We registered for them on Pottery Barn. And I love them. But in case we are not gifted them I wanted to see what else was out there.

In Other News:
My most fabulous husband got me an early birthday and your gonna be a mama presents! A fridge/freezer for the garage andddd a Neato! Neato is a handsfree little vacuum guy that makes my life so nice! He just does his thing, ignoring the dog when she choses to be fiesty or working around me making breakfast. My floors feel fab and I dont have to run my Shark every other day now! Dont worry Shark you are still amazing and I love you!

28 Weeks!!! Heyyyyloooo Third Trimester!!

Holy Cow.... We have entered the home stretch!!!

Week: 28 Weeks, Welcome to the final months babycakes!

Weight Gain: I am feeling insecure and fat, so I shall be removing this tidbit of info from zee blog!

Maternity Clothes: Same ones as before, however I have tortured myself by trying on "regular" clothes. I did find two potential baby shower outfits though! Non-maternity, nice and flowy, and hopefully make my un-merged two tummies look like one cute basketball belly!

Note the two bellies in the photo below-
2 tummies meet... I want a basketball!

Wedding Ring On/Off: on and fitting normally

Sleeping: I seem to have progressed to many position changes throughout the night, but only two potty breaks... here is hoping!

Weekly Highlight: Christopher got to feel Baby J!!! SO many exciting new baby related purchases!! See the deets below!

Stretch Marks: None that I can see

Cravings/Food Things: I am on week one of no desert. I feel like I let all my control go in the second trimester, so I am trying to end strong!

Labor Signs: Nope, but man does this little man love to move! We have been feeling him kick and do the wave all over the place! Christopher got to feel him, FINALLY. We were watching the World Cup final and Baby J decided to prove to his daddy what an athlete he will be. I know his daddy is a proud papa!

Missing Anything In Particular This Week: being able to bend over without pressure and tying my shoes without having to get into a yoga position.

Weekly Mood: Accepting of my changing body

Whatcha Looking Forward Too: our 30 week check up!!! And Birth bootcamp! Both of which start on July 31st!

Workout This Week: Lots of yoga and walks! I try to take Liuzza on two 2 mile walks a day!

27 Weeks!!! (So Much for the Weekly Update...3 Weeks Later)

Week: 27 Weeks (I mean that seems like basically 30 to me...holy cow!)

Weight Gain: I am feeling exceptionally fat after a weekend home to NOLA and the lake for the 4th, So i opt out this week. Hopefully returning to my normal routine will make me feel better!

Maternity Clothes: Same as last post. I may go looking at some stores today. Just to browse. I need a baby shower dress! It is almost baby shower time...geez um!

Wedding Ring On/Off: On!

Sleeping: Pretty well these last few nights

Weekly Highlight: I have been told I look pregnant, lots of times. So that is super exciting! I keep waiting for my two tummies to merge, then I get the basketball belly! Hopefully it happens!

Stretch Marks: Not that I notice, but my body is covered in scratches right now from the puppy swim lessons at the lake.

Cravings/Food Things: Nothing major... I have been on a nectarine and peach kick. Yummy summer fruits. And I have eaten and wanted way more chocolate, like cookie cake. Which I am fairly certain I do not even like! I don't know if it is just because I want it or if I want it bc I can have it.

Labor Signs: Nope, and lets hold off on this for a while!

Missing Anything In Particular This Week: Regular clothes shopping. I tortured myself yesterday and tried on regular non maternity clothes.... not a good choice Julie, NOT.A.Good.Choice.
