38 Weeks - mommy intuition 1-1

I had my first vaginal exam this week. Totally not the big scary & painful event it has been described as. Honestly it is preferable to an annual with the duck bill speculum. Anywhoooo with my exam I learned that my prediction of Baby J arriving with the new moon on Sept 24th was unlikely. I was 60% effaced (how thin my cervix is), -1 station (how far into the pelvis the baby's head is, & as far as dilation, I was closed up real tight. And still had a posterior facing cervix. Baby J is still in the ideal head down-face back position. He has been there from the start and I keep telling him he must stay there!

Oh well, the 24th and new moon have come and gone and Baby J is a happy little boy in his mommies belly. I am officially 1 for 1 on my mommy intuition. Yes, you are a boy, no you are not coming on the 24th. So now we wait! We are ready, everything is ready. I keep thinking that there must be one thing left I am missing and that is why he isn't here yet... I haven't found that "one thing" yet!

Liuzza is making me feel like he is gonna be here soon. She is freakishly more clingy than usually and must touch me. It is sweet and I love it, but it also makes me sad for her. I don't want her to be sad or left out. I know it will  be an adjustment with her and the baby, but I am just hoping for the absolutely best and that we will all adapt and change to our new life and addition!

Baby J Updates this Week:
- Bought shutters for his name above the crib! Trade days was very successful. Shutters have been painted and hung!
- Crib sheets have been washed
- The nursery is 100% ready, just needs a baby. And for me to hang his banner above his crib.
- We went to our first hospital class last night. It was a breast-feeding class. We learned a lot. Especially that in the first 10 days baby must eat every 3 hours. After that you can left them sleep through the night if they will. So that was interesting. We learned lots of other stuff as well, but that stuck with me. I was planning on letting him sleep as long as he wanted, as long as the Dr. says he is good with his weight.

Side Note: There are currently three different guessing pools with varying prizes for Baby J's bday, weight, & name. They are as follows:
- From the shower everyone guessed his name, his weight, and his bday. Christopher and I apparently must provide champagne to the winner of each category. We have the note cards to double check once he is here!
- Immediate Janes/Demberg Siblings/Parents guessed on date and weight. The prize for this naturally gets to be Baby J's favorite person. Titine (Aunt Chi Chi) believes she is going to be his favorite. Lets see if she is right!
- Baby J Sweepstakes, very much like the Super Bowl Squares. Everyone picked random squares. Christopher and I then pulled numbers out of a hat to assign pounds and ounces to the chart. This game is the Dembergs/McPeek and Janes' as well as a few of our friends here. The winner gets a $400 pot. GO 'head winner! My Dad and cousin Ryan said we should have said Baby J should get $100 and the winner $300. We didn't think about that. Oh Well! Its all for fun!!!

Week: 38

Sleeping: Surprisingly well! I have been doing this Apana meditation each night and I think that helps! I sleep great for most of the night, I get up to pee lots and am usually wide awake for a little after that. But I am lucky for the overall!

Weekly Highlight: My first vaginal exam and learning that I am at least in the early beginning stages of labor.

Stretch Marks: Same ones I have! My belly button is a perfect circle... it is very weird!

Cravings/Food Things: Lots of sweets!

Labor Signs: I maybe have felt some cramps, or weird things. But I have nothing major happening! At least that I know of!

Missing Anything In Particular This Week: Nope

Weekly Mood: Excited and Happy!!!

Whatcha Looking Forward Too: McKinney Oktoberfest and Saints v Cowboys game. We have been offered tickets, but it is an 8 o clock game, and mommy cant make it that late. I feel like the worlds worst fan, but it is a long event for us to get to At&t stadium and back home. It is exhausting when not 38 weeks preggies, soooo at a whopping 39 weeks on Sunday I am gonna lay on my couch and cuddle with my puppy and HubsMan and cheers my boys on! And cheer my baby boy out!

Workout This Week: Our walks have downgraded from 2.5/2 miles to a solid 1.5/1.7 miles. I feel bad bc I feel like Liuzza is getting the short end of the stick, but I cant go any further. I try to spend a good bit of time outside with her bc the weather has been fab. Hoping that helps!

Holy belly paw paw

Offical 9th month of pregnancy! 36 weeks!

Wowza, this is real! We have t-minus 4 weeks to go until the official "40 week" mark! Today we had our 36 week check-up! Which included a sonogram. Did not (and will not) include vaginal exams until week 38. Dr. J doesn't like to do them unless necessary to expose you to less discomfort and possible infection. Turns out I am one of those lucky broads who has tested positive for Strep B. So I get a nice antibiotic cocktail in the form of an IV when I arrive at the hospital. Good thing, Dr J reassured me, this by no means I am attached to an IV for the remainder. I will have to keep the saline lock in (which I knew) for those "just in cases" but once the antibiotic is done I can be a free mobile woman again!

Pregnancy/Appointment Updates and Tidbits:
- Baby J weighs 7lbs (give or take a pound, usually it is take a pound)
- Baby J still has quite a large amount of hair. The sono tech is still blown away at its amounts! haha!
- Baby J's head is in the 97th percentile! Holy big head! He is in the 78th percentile.
- Fluid, placenta, and all that jazz is fabulous and perfect! Yay!
- Baby J is facing in the correct position, down and anterior (face back towards spine). Lets hope this position   makes for an easy delivery of his cute and fabulous big furry head!
- I have been doing a lot of visualizations. Positive of course!! I am really a firm believer in the power of positivity! I think the mind is a huge player in birth and I hope that all of my preparation will make for an easy birth for me and Baby J!
- We traded in our oh so amazing pack n play (thank you for the generous gift Aunt Sayrah & Uncle JayRed). We ended up with so many pieces parts and extra things (bassinet, changing table, etc...) that we wouldn't use. When we originally registered it was perfect because we had nothing, but now that we are going through things we realize that we want to keep it simple. A pack n play will strictly be for travel, it wont get much use otherwise. So we (Christopher) began researching what was best for us... We were living the 4Moms, but the steep $300 bucks made it no bueno for us. SO we ended up with the Joovy Room2 Playyard. It is fabulous and a giant square of play area and sleep area. We need to order the special sheets for it of course since it is a square. But it was $120 and much more reasonably in our budget.
- We have almost booked our new born photographer! We know we are going with April Murphy, a friend of our friends Erika & Justin. She is fab and we cant wait to use her!! In case you are interested in reading about Erika, Justin, and their cutie pie twins- Keegan & Noelle, you can hop on over to her blog! Here it is: http://www.twobucklemyshoe.blogspot.com
- I made the monthly signs for Baby J's first year of life!

We cannot even wait or wrap our minds around how close we are!!! I think everything that "needs" to be done is. I have a few things I would "like" to get done. But it is not the end of the world if they don't get done. We have a family pool going on guess for when Baby J shall arrive and how much he shall weigh. See the picture below for the votes!

I feel (and have felt) that Baby J will arrive on September 24th. It is a Wednesday and a New Moon. What better way to celebrate a New Moon than with new life! That would put us in week 38. Which I actually have been feeling he would come in before I settled on the 24th. Christopher think he will come on October 7th, the 8th is a full moon. Its crazy! We did both choose 9lbs 7oz, without knowing the other chose that! haha!

And here is the weekly fil in the blanks!

Week: 36 (wah wah... we are in the last month!)

Maternity Clothes: I have been loving Chris' basketball shorts!

Wedding Ring On/Off: It is officially off. It was not that I needed it to be off, I just got scared they were gonna cut it off if it got too tight!!! So now I switched to my gaudy david yurman knock off.... I feel so weird without my ring!

Sleeping:  Well this is a new fun! I sleep really hard the first half of the night, then am pretty wide awake the second half. I wonder what my body is preparing me for.

Weekly Highlight: Getting to hear how amazing out sweet angel boy is!!

Stretch Marks: Sadly (but I am embracing them as part of the miracle that is happening in my body) I have gotten more. Still concentrated only on the right of my belly button. But they are there non the less.

Cravings/Food Things: I really wanted Brothers Pizza all week, so we got it Wednesday night. Then of course my belly was hurting so much (who knows why, maybe a sign of the sore throat coming) I couldn't eat anything but the crust!

Labor Signs: Nope! But my back def hurts more. It comes and goes and then I am good. None of my usual tricks are working though! Maybe its a start!!!!

Missing Anything In Particular This Week: Bending over, like really big! I cant do any type of bending movement it squishes the baby and my organs... all of them rebel!

Weekly Mood: I am have been pretty tired this week. Definitely moving slower. And I woke up with a sore throat on Thursday. I am giving my young living EOs a test this week!

Whatcha Looking Forward Too: Trade Days & possible balloon fest this weekend!!!

Workout This Week: Walking & yoga! Fortunately I have been able to get all but one of my yoga classes this week. So fab! Walking is still going strong. Slower on some days than others, but we are still a going strong. I have been trying to do a different route each day so that the pup dog doesn't get so set on a routine. Maybe it will help with the bebe!

Week 36! It is getting pointy!

I am pretending it is fall and making pumpkin thangs! Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffins here!

Super pumped about our Joovy Room2!

Shows one of the monthly signs!

Everyone's guesses! Just missing Franks!

5 weeks to go!! Week 35 update!

Not much to report this week beyond the weekly stats. I am still trying to complete last weeks "todos." Next week should be an exciting blog post though.... we have our bonus 36 week sono to see just how large this little man really is! Check back for the update!

-Chris and I did official switch vehicles... he has the SUV and I have the car (1.5 years till this lease is up!) and getting down in the car was not comfy. Not comfy at all!!
- I am officially on no travel lock down. So the month of september we are home with no trips!
- At my check up this week I was informed that we are moving on to weekly visits. Holy realness batman! And that all is well! Strong heartbeat, head down and central, blood pressure low and fab, & no alarms in my pee pee sample!!

Week: 35!

Maternity Clothes: Same ole

Wedding Ring On/Off: On, but I am seriously considering taking it off... I am scared that it is soon going to get stuck and have to be cut off. One of my friends suggested just going to Claire's or something and buying a ring to wear in the meantime. I may just do that!

Sleeping: so-so. I am pretty much in bed by 930 and get up 3-4 times a night. Certain times is a breeze to turn over and other times it is like I just ran 4 back to back marathons!

Weekly Highlight: Getting pumpkin things! yay Fall!

Stretch Marks: I am afraid to say, I have grown a few more stretch marks. They are still very much concentrated at the right side of my belly button... so weird!

Cravings/Food Things: I have been eating wayyyy to many sweets! I need to real that in!

Labor Signs: Nope, still haven't experience Braxton Hicks or anything. I wonder what that means? Or what it predicts?

Missing Anything In Particular This Week: I am seriously having a hard time with any scrunch type position. My poor baby and organs rebel!

Weekly Mood: You know I don't know... I have felt slower and heavier for sure. I don't know if that is the progression of the pregnancy or all the sweets!

Whatcha Looking Forward Too: Baby J getting here! I cannot wait to meet him! I am impatient and also telling him to take his time and come when he is ready. I have been so fortunate to have an amazing pregnancy so I cannot complain one bit! I cannot wait to meet and love this sweet boy! It is crazy how close we are!!

Workout This Week: Walking & Yoga

Hi gigantor belly... geezum!

The beginning of the pumpkin finds! (Milano cookies are not a good find, fyi)

bahahaha! HAD to share!

Week 34! We.Are.Close!!

Oh My Gosh!!! We are like in the home stretch folks!! At our last checkup all was well. My belly was measuring larger than what it should be. But I am not surprised since he is seeming to be a big baby. We heard a story in birth bootcamp last week about a 13 pound natural home birth! Surely we wont reach that!!

It has been a big prep week for the Janes household... As I sit here eating my birthday treat from Coldstone, I will run down the "todos" we have knocked off:
- Ordered the rug for the nursery. Can I tell ya about the deal we got! Thank you RugsUSA because we got exactly what I was looking for... for $91 bucks! Anddd it is a 5x8 rug! Cant.Wait!
 - Made goodie bags for the nurses
- Wrote (and began checking things off of) the hospital bag lists. I have one for Christopher, Baby J, and I. Christopher is 90% packed. I just need to add a few things like up to date magazines, the ipad, his contacts/glasses (whichever he is not wearing. He laughed at me when I told him he was ready. Because lets be real he can leave the hospital whenever he wants or needs to run home. Only one, well two, of us will be prisoners of Baylor Frisco. I just wanted him to know he is just as special. I don't want him to be forgotten or thought any less important. Same with the pup, but I haven't figured out what to do for her yet. Taking suggestions!) Baby J and I's bags are just a thought right now. I have some stuff together like travel sized toiletries, and went shopping for some other things. But I have to get more.
- I.bought.grannie.pannies.... I KNOW! Vickies my love you are officially put on hold until mama is back to "before Baby J body." I am accepting it. I get a baby out of the deal, so I can accept it!
- Christopher ran a half marathon! Wahoooo Hubsman
- I have begun contacting newborn photographers, that is exciting & expensive. Butttt I know we will appreciate having them!
- Spoke with the insurance about getting a free hospital grade pump! Wahooo! I think we will go with Medela!
- Turn 27 - Check! And I celebrated it by doing things for my fur baby and belly baby. Puppy class & Birth Bootcamp!
- We got 4 more closet baskets from the Container Store... side note they were on sale for $11 versus the $14 we paid for the others! Rats! Coulda saved some mulah...oh well!
- We got Baby J's lamp! Thank you World Market and bday emails!
- Washed sheets and bumper for borrowed bassinet! Our neighbors are the best!

Todos we still need to do:
- Get a trash can for Baby J's poopie diapers
- Pack Baby J & I's hospital bags
- Stores.Stores.Stores! I have a list of things I need to get to finish projects here and there! (IKEA, Dollar Store, Target...)
- Organize Baby J's stuff. I have begun too. But every time I go into the nursery (read: daily) there is something I move around!
- Measure and buy baskets/buckets for storage in his closet. There is one shelf that I think I want to use for knick-knacks rather than hanging clothes. He has a full row in his closet as well as 6 drawers on the chest of drawers. (side note: Baby J was given a present of books to open at his shower. Thank you Aunt McGreggor. The basket they came in may be what we are looking for. But I need more!)
- Wash his sheets and crib skirt... I just put them on for aesthetics!
- Wash Baby J's hats, socks, and the rest of the clothes I know are keepers.

Week: 34

Weight Gain: I will give y'all a teaser here... I have officially gained and stayed at the gained 30 lb mark!

Maternity Clothes: Same ones... But I will say that maternity bathing suit that I bought "just because", has come in crazy handy! Like crazy handy! Ladies, if you find yourself pregnant in the summer, get cha a baby belly appropriate suit. It will change your life.

Wedding Ring On/Off: On, it does catch at my knuckle depending on how swollen I am at the end of the day. I take it off to put my Burts Bees mama oil on.

Sleeping: These last few days not well. I wake up a good 4-7 times. Get up to pee 3-4 times. And constantly am changing positions. My hips go to sleep very easily.

Weekly Highlight: Making the bags for the nurses. I hope that they like them. I feel like the nursing and teaching professions are similar, and I wanted them to know we appreciate them!

Stretch Marks: Same ones... I have a daily routine of Palmers stretch mark lotion, Bio Oil, & Burts Bees mama oil. Who knows what works and what doesn't... My belly doesn't itch, so that's good!

Cravings/Food Things: I have been eating more sweets this week... And I cannot seem to eat much of anything after 5/6pm. I am so full and heavy from the day so I haven't been able to stomach much else. There is no room!!

Labor Signs: None that I am aware of. I have been feeling him a lot lower than I have before. Who knows!

Missing Anything In Particular This Week: being able to walk my dog in the evenings. The heaviness has kept me from it.

Weekly Mood: I have been tired this week. But I have gotten a lot done, so accomplished! Tired & accomplished!

Whatcha Looking Forward Too: Meeting my little angel baby! I cannot even wrap my mind around how close we are!! AND LSU football starts this week! So hulllooohhhh Tigahs, I have missed you!! LSU vs. Wisconsin in Houston. We are planning to go, have tickets (thank you Haliburton)! And thank you Doyle's for the Houston Digs! We are much appreciative that you are allow us and the furry little beast to crash there for the evening!

Workout This Week: Yoga & Walking. It is a slow yoga week because things keep coming up in my yoga time slots.

The beginning of the hospital bags! Christopher is packed in the Northface, Nurse presents in the whole foods bag, I will be the Vera Bradley dufflebag, and Baby J will be in his diaper bag!

Baby J's borrowed bassinet! Snuggle Baby!!

Yeah yeah yeah I got sucked into the fall stuff being out! BTW these are YUM!

A peak at the closet shelving. We have it on both doors! Love it!! Have all the diapers we have been given (Honest & Pamper Swaddlers) stocked up and ready for the babe!

Hospital bag list. Color coordinated and sorted... judge all you want!

HubsMan ran his first Half Marathon! In real life it is 13.1 miles... based on this course being mis-marked he ran 14.3! Go head brotha!

Goodie bag prep for the nurses! I hope they like candyyyy!

32 Weeks & counting!

Another combo blog... another week slacked! In my defense I had Week 32 written, just never posted. So I figured I would just add it into Week 33's post!

I began week 33 with my 32 week check up. Since I was out of town as was Dr. J we had trouble coordinating last weeks apt. So Monday afternoon I went for my checkup. All looks good! Howeverrrr my belly is measuring on the larger side. Thank you to a growing baby J or a weekend at the beach. I wanna say its the baby! Here are two "belly pictures" from week 32. I think my belly looks pretty cute here! It does not always look this way guys... don't get toooo excited!

What what a basketball!

Where o where did my toes go?!?
Week: 33

Maternity Clothes: Got lots of use out of my maternity bathing suit when we were at the beach!
Wedding Ring On/Off: on
Sleeping: all good
Weekly Highlight: It is always fun to go to the doctors. It was nice to speak with him about some of my concerns with being induced and not being able to do natural birth.
Stretch Marks: Same ones to the right of my belly button. Which upon further review is really to teh left if you are looking at my belly.
Cravings/Food Things: I have been really wanting soft serve with sprinkles. What I really want is Kohr Brothers peanut butter with chocolate sprinkles. But seeing as how I have no plans to go to OCNJ and the season is ending, I dont imagine that wish will be granted.... sad face
Labor Signs: Nope, but I def feel new kinds of stretching and stitch type pains in and around my belly.
Missing Anything In Particular This Week: Comfortable hang out shorts. I cannot seem to find the right lounge-ware for the house..
Weekly Mood: I have been tired this week. But I expect that due to a traveling and busy weekend.
Whatcha Looking Forward Too: the 36 week sono!!!!
Workout This Week: Yoga and walks as normal

Belly Button Update: It appears to be diapering! I have this reddish circle around it and the button itself it working on going away...

Week: 32!
Maternity Clothes: And I have given in... nursing bras have been bought! I have been fighting it and boy oh boy those nursing sports bras are so darn comfy! They don't do much in the way of making the girls look marvelous, but they will be perfectly suitable to wear from here on out!
Wedding Ring On/Off: On and feeling normal. I have days of more swollen limbs fa sho. But still fits!
Sleeping: fairly well actually. BUT I will say adjusting positions is quite a workout. I have not mastered how to switch sides without feeling like I ran a mile... man o man having ab muscle is something we take advantage of!
Weekly Highlight: One of my very sweet friends gave us a box full of goodies and clothes. I am feeling very grateful to Erika for her super kindness!!
Stretch Marks: Same ones as last week, to the right of my belly button. Anddd it appears my belly button is doing something weird. It constantly has a reddish ring around it... We shall see what comes of it!
Cravings/Food Things: I am trying to make sure I am eating enough protein and greens. Man it is hard!!  I am also keeping track of things in a Chow Chart. It is in out Birth Bootcamp bool.
Labor Signs: Nope! Thank you baby boy!
Missing Anything In Particular This Week: Not losing my breath at the drop of a hat.
Weekly Mood: Tired and Excited and Accomplished!
Whatcha Looking Forward Too: Beach Vacayyy!! Janes Gang does Portofino!
Workout This Week: Lots of walking and yoga

30/31 Week Combo

Holy Smokes 30 weeks seems so far into this thing! And what a week it was!! Baby J enjoyed a week in NOLA, we had our first Birthbootcamp Class, and 30 week check up (sono included)! My o'my what we learned at this checkup...
Here are the cliff notes on our sweet baby boy:
- He was weighing in at 4lbs 4oz
- He is measuring in the 89% percentile (taking after Uncle PJ & Daddy)
- He is still a boy (Ruthie Poothie)
- We are having a bonus sono at 36 weeks to determine where he is then. Dr. J may want to induce early (more thoughts on that below).
- Our boy has a head full of lots of hair already!!! (taking after mommy)
- He likes to put his foot in my right ribs. Especially when he is hungry (note the picture below).
- We have officially moved to check ups every 2 weeks. This is real y'all!
- We had our NOLA baby shower and could not be more grateful for all the love in this babies life. He has no idea yet, but man is this kid loved. It was an amazing day full of friends and family and we couldn't say thank you enough!!
- We asked Lauren and Patrick to be god parents!! They both were thrilled, it was an amazing experience!

Baby J's sweet little foot in mommies rib. Thank you son!

I apologize for the nudity here, but how funny that the sono tech wrote "Still A Boy" I couldn't help but laugh.

Thoughts on the possibility of inducing early... I know they are premature thoughts because we wont know for a few weeks here. But I am torn. Is he really gonna be huge or is this just a big baby scare? If I don't induce early will he be to big for me to deliver naturally? If I do induce is that okay? What if he wasn't ready yet? I have many questions like this...I am not worried because I know that everything works out how it is supposed too, just things I am thinking. I definitely need to talk to Dr. J some more and get the skinny!

Here are a list of things we discussed at Bootcamp that can all help with natural labor! I had to keep it for recall purposes of course!

Nursery Updates:
Lots of exciting things to report here!! Many of the decor things I wanted to accomplish we did! We are having a baby BBQ this weekend at the house for our Dallas peeps and I wanted to have more done for Baby J! Fortunately my HubsMan is a big ole trooper and loves me to pieces because he has done a project a night this week. Sweet man! We have:
- The curtains hung
- Book shelves spray painted and hung. With books on them might I add (thank you baby shower)
- Alphabet spray painted. modge podged, and hung!
- Baby J's blue gingham chair put together
- A small lamp table next to the rocker (thank you sista for the wedding donation)
- Finally bought a crib mattress and the closet door organizational things, among other baby things (thank you so much generous daddy who is already spoiling his grandson)

I swear the letters are navy and scrapbook paper. They just look black in photos. Alsooo we have since bought a changing pad cover!

Yay curtains! Again, they are navy and not black! And don't worry kids, the crib now has a mattress. I will put a crib photo in a later post!

Book shelves (Ikea spice racks spray painted navy) and Baby J's chair. I would have loved to get it monogrammed, but that would mean telling the name...Shhhh It is a secret! Books! Thank you NOLA frands and fam!

Pregnancy Stats:
Week: 31 weeks!

Weight Gain: I will let y'all know that I have officially hit the 30lb weight gain... I told myself I did not want to gain more than 40 (45 at the most). So I hope this stays true. I know that my body is meant to do as it pleases so I wont allow myself to make it a negative, no matter what.

Maternity Clothes: Same ole same ole... however my three pairs of non maternity workout pants are getting a wee bit snug.

Wedding Ring On/Off: On

Sleeping: Pretty well! Cant complain.... My hips fall a sleep when I stay on one side too long. But that is small change!

Weekly Highlight: My daddy is here for a few days!!! SO.EXCITED!

Stretch Marks: Unfortunately I believe that my first ones are making their appearance. Only on the right side of my belly button. They are small so I am hoping it is a fluke. I've been lathering Palmers and Burts Bees on!

Cravings/Food Things: Not the one!

Labor Signs: Nope. Thank you baby! I know that I have entered the window of Braxton Hicks, so here is hoping we don't have those.

Missing Anything In Particular This Week: Being able to bend over without a belly in the way. It is making many yoga poses very tricky. But I love my belly and my baby so when I find myself not being able to get into a pose and feel it as I want I just remind myself it is all for this beautiful baby boy.

Weekly Mood: Super Happy! We have gotten so many baby related things accomplished this week! (more deets above)

Whatcha Looking Forward Too: Bootcamp tonight!!! And our baby BBQ this weekend. We wanted to celebrate with our Dallas peeps, so what better than beer and a casual bbq!?!

Workout This Week: Yoga and walks!!!

Now that looks like a preggies belly to me! Holy Moly it is growing!

29 Weeks: We Are an Acorn Squash!! (75ish more days!!)

Wowza!! When you say it like that, wowza!!! 75 more days seems like nothing! And there is still lots to do!!!

Dear Baby J,
My darling baby boy, I have been wondering a lot about you this week. What will you look like? Will you have daddies thick beautiful straight hair or mommies crazy curly thin hair? What color will your eyes be? Are you gonna be a chunk or a little thing? There are so many questions! All in due time I know, I cannot wait to meet you! However, please stay in my belly as long as you need to! No rush here, we want you to grow and grow and grow!! We love you so much already, it is crazy how you can love someone you have never met! But I feel like I know you so well!!!

Random Baby Updates:
- He has very particular times that he likes to move: Before I am about to eat (when we are collectively hungry), after we eat (thank you mommy that was yummy!), when we lay down to go to bed, and when Chris' alarm goes off in the am. He also moves other random times throughout the day, but these are daily occurrences!
- I actually saw... SAW my belly move today!!! Holy weird and crazy and exciting!! I hope Chris gets to see it!!
- The two bellies are slowly working towards one... here is hoping!

Nursery Update:
-  I got a pillow for the rocker. It is a yellow color. Going to a pop of color different from the tan/white/navy we have got going on.
- Chris and I spray painted all the letters navy and I modge podged scrapbook paper on to a few of the letters. I am hoping this works out. I have tried to plan this out, but am realizing that I just cant. I have to go with the flow! (Side Note: When you spray paint letters make sure they are facing the correct way. We realized along the way that a good 5/6 were backwards. haha)
- I am hunting for a rug and lamp. More the rug right now because I need to test an end table from my mother in law.
- I am also hunting for curtains. We registered for them on Pottery Barn. And I love them. But in case we are not gifted them I wanted to see what else was out there.

In Other News:
My most fabulous husband got me an early birthday and your gonna be a mama presents! A fridge/freezer for the garage andddd a Neato! Neato is a handsfree little vacuum guy that makes my life so nice! He just does his thing, ignoring the dog when she choses to be fiesty or working around me making breakfast. My floors feel fab and I dont have to run my Shark every other day now! Dont worry Shark you are still amazing and I love you!

Here are the Weekly Updates

Week: 29 weeks!

Maternity Clothes: Same ole same ole

Wedding Ring On/Off: on and feels great! I have a friend who is a week ahead of me and she just had to take hers off due to the swelling.

Sleeping: on and off. Not through the night. I toss and turn a lot, my hips go to sleep if I lay on one too long. I hope Baby J doesn't mind how much I flip him around in there!

Weekly Highlight: I saw my belly move! It was like an uncoordinated wave!

Stretch Marks:  None that I see
